Q – An SEO company says they can guarantee me top spot in Google? How do they do it?
First of all no SEO company can guarantee you top spot in Google. It is also worthwhile noting that some being top of Google by searching your business name is not the same as being top of Google for your preferred search term. For example if you are called Joe Bloggs Plumbers and you are in Leeds, if you come top of Google for Joe Bloggs Plumbers, it is only useful for people who already know your business and are just trying to find your telephone number.

Twitter users have now sent over 20 billion “tweets”. At 3.44pm on Saturday the milestone message was “GGGGGGo-Lets-Go”. Ok so it may not be useful information, but it attracted a lot of attention as congratulation tweets flooded in.

Whilst scouring the internet to have a look at the quality of some small business websites in Leeds I was astounded by how many businesses still fail to make sure that they have taken the right care to give that good first impression to potential customers as they would in every day business life.
Obviously this is not just the case with small businesses in Leeds but happens with business websites all over the UK, but Leeds is the City Easybiz Sites are based, so it is a market I look at very closely. So the question I ask is why do all businesses need a website? And why should any small business make sure their website looks professional? Ok, let me put this to you. Think about your habits when looking for business websites, the web design gives you an impression of that business doesn’t it? So isn’t it important to make sure that if you have a small business in Leeds (which is my example in this case) that your web design is at the very least professional enough to make sure it gives the right impression of your business?
