Web designers from Leeds for almost 15 years.

Leeds has become well known over the years as the UK’s 2nd major city behind London. Vastly expanding and with some wonderful places to shop the West Yorkshire home to Leeds United Football Club and Marks & Spencer really is a hub of activity. One that Easybiz Sites is proud to call it’s home.

Although Easybiz Sites is a relatively new name in the web design industry it’s chief designer and company owner Rich Copley has been designing websites for personal use and business use for over 15 years. He makes sure that he has an active role in every design done at Easybiz Sites. Not a single website is released to the client without his seal of approval. This ensures that the high standards that Easybiz Sites believe in are maintained and boundaries are always pushed to keep on improving designs and services to our clients.

The internet has entered a new generation from when the world wide web was given to us all for free. Being in web design from the beginning gives Easybiz Sites a distinct advantage and allows us to be able to share our knowledge with our clients. We believe a business that is reaping the benefits of being online with their own business website will remain loyal to us while we provide a top class service.

The humble beginnings of our story dates back to 1995 when the internet was in its infancy. Businesses were very much experimenting with what they could get out of having a website and with free website services such as Geocities online many websites popped up, some are still here to this day. But with that came its own problem. Search engines such as Google had to change the way they indexed websites (something they do all of the time, that is why we keep ahead of the game and up-to-date with any planned changes). Many websites became neglected by their owners and the information they stored was out of date. These websites were no longer relevant so Google had to look at a new way of indexing websites so only the most relevant would stay at the top.

It was widely believed in the 90’s and early 2000’s that a business could take or leave a website. But the introduction of broadband started to change all of that. More and more people were getting broadband as the price came down. Not long later Charles Dunston would lead the way in the UK and offer Talk Talk customers free broadband. It was no surprise when his competitors chose to follow suit. Suddenly by the 2006 the rules had changed with business web design.

This and the affordability of laptops and mobile phones and also the speed of the technology available in phones has lead to people putting down the Yellow Pages and instead being able to find what they are looking for on Google, they no longer need to wait until they get home as more and more places have wifi available freely, free broadband in public places. No longer was it simply nice for a business to have a website, no longer was a website the sole need of businesses wishing to sell products and services online, in order to be seen by those customers who once would have used the Yellow Pages, it became essential.

Still today in 2010 there are businesses who are blissfully unaware of this fact. Many have put a downturn in business down to the downturn in the economic climate, waiting it out for change. But they have also neglected the fact that by 2008 the vast majority of people were already using Google to find what they are looking for, whether it be a plumber in Bradford or a builder in Essex. Those who are at the top of Google and have a professional looking website found that they were seeing a major upturn in business. Economic downturn? What economic downturn?

Spotting that for a business with web design skills that the web design industry would buck the fashion for decline and be able to thrive due to the speed in how we look for businesses has changed, Easybiz Sites was set up in 2009. Since then it has quickly grown and has been able to improve incomes for businesses that chose us as their website designers and hosting in the UK. As a business model Easybiz Sites was a win win situation. Businesses would pay us for our services, benefit from being able to compete online and bring in more revenue and as a result of that stay loyal to us because they know we are the name to trust when it comes to anything to do with web design, hosting or online marketing.

Better still our great rates for custom design websites give our clients great value for money through and through. So if you are looking for a web designer in Leeds, or a web designer in the UK for that matter, you will be hard pressed finding anywhere where you get better value for your money.
